  • Overview

    Manage accounts for the FEC Railway’s right–of-way relative to the Pipe and Wire and Longitudinal Fiber licenses and agreements. Responsible for managing and operating existing and new portfolio for Pipe and Wire Licenses and Longitudinal Fiber Agreements inside the FEC Railway’s right-of-way.  Responsible for cultivating new business opportunities by developing relationships with existing customer base and new prospects.  Monitor and ensure licenses and agreements meet railway requirements and standards.


    • Ensure that all licensee’s accounts are billed and collected in accordance with their contractual agreements
    • Assist licensees/customers with all questions and inquiries regarding their account balances or current standing with their agreement.
    • Process fees and payments via the accounting department’s policies and procedures
    • Set up and maintain file records for all accounts both active and inactive
    • Reconcile accounts using MRI reports as needed including Delinquent, Cash Detail, and Lease Inquiry Reports
    • Prepare Pipe and Wire Set Up forms and coordination with accounting to input custom data into MRI for new crossings
    • Maintain various reports detailing revenue activity and delinquent reports
    • Generate written communications relative to the specific accounts as needed. (i.e., new crossing letters, unlicensed letters, approval letters, etc…)
    • Notify fiber optic licensees’ of any new approvals in the vicinity of their plant or equipment
    • Review and administer agreement terms for new and approved licenses
    • Manage the utility license process thru application, design, and approval with FEC Railway and Licensee
    • Communicate with licensee’s to ensure understanding of process, requirements and billing
    • Manage and direct duties of admin assistant to meet department needs and goals
    • Maintain various reports detailing revenue, activity and delinquent accounts
    • Monthly preparation for account review accuracy and billing
    • Assume account management and understand all components of transaction business
    • Manage the utility license process thru application, design, and approval with FEC Railway and Licensee
    • Maximize value of assets by acquiring market knowledge of rates and concessions
    • Negotiate and consummate new, renewal or modifications for license projects



    • High School Diploma (College preferred)
    • 2-5 years of related work experience



    • FL Real Estate License (preferred)



    • Strong organizational and communications skills
    • Basic accounting knowledge
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word)
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Team player
